That tweet was referring to round 2 for scholarship e-mails, not admission decisions.Egzon wrote:Seems like yesterday were all dings according Johann.

And then we get waylaid with rejection haymakers.thebrownnote wrote:I'm fairly sure he was saying "ding" in the context of the bell you hear at the beginning of a round of boxing. Wow that's when you know you spend too much time on TLS. I thought <ding> meant "getting dinged": obviously notcavalier1138 wrote:That tweet was referring to round 2 for scholarship e-mails, not admission decisions.Egzon wrote:Seems like yesterday were all dings according Johann.

Yes, this is the last school I haven't heard from. I'm expecting a ding, but I'll be pleasantly surprised with a WL and very surprised with an acceptance. Doubt I can afford to go even if I am accepted, so I don't think an acceptance would change my plans but still - would be nice.WaitersIsland wrote:Johann tweeted that we can expect more decisions in the next couple of days. I'm an idiot and don't deserve anything considering I just realized I didn't submit my forms.

Submitted in December, went complete a couple months later after an interview. Still have not received a decision.
Has anyone heard of a school neglecting to make a decision on an applicant? Has anyone simply never heard back from a school?

Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Do you have any date changes in your dlds after your initial complete after the interview? I think you will definitely hear back from everywhere, even if you submit late and they don't get to you with spots open in the class you generally get a letter saying the class is full. But you submitted on time, so that's not even the case for you.Jumpman32 wrote:Submitted in December, went complete a couple months later after an interview. Still have not received a decision.

Johann tweeted there would be decisions out late in the week, so there's always tomorrow to hope for right?

I think it is so unfair that schools can just keep people waiting forever. I applied early January, no movement on status check or decision letter system. I really feel like they are just not going to give me a decision at all.

It basically said 'I've learned not to send stuff out on April fool's day because the front desk gets mad,' but maybe that in itself is April Fools.RonnyDiniro wrote:What does it say?Purplepen wrote:Johann's tweet does not sound promising at all for today, I'm so sad.RonnyDiniro wrote:+1njkga wrote:Come on Northwestern - give us a decision already.
