I meant to contribute my dates to this thread for a while, but it slipped my mind:
UR1 (1/5), UR2 (1/8), WL (2/12)
Above both 75ths, no Why Penn. Given the YP madness, I sort of expected this, but I feel like chances at a Levy are slim if you're not even offered admission until May... Any precedent for or against this?

Stuck at UR1 1/26. Anyone have any insight? I assume I'd go UR2 before a ding...but maybe that's wrong. Just ding me already.

Also UR1 1/26 (and tbh expecting a ding), but based on a cursory glance through the thread, it seems like earlier UR1s have all gotten to UR2, so at least we should be next? Maybe?whsokolove wrote:Stuck at UR1 1/26. Anyone have any insight? I assume I'd go UR2 before a ding...but maybe that's wrong. Just ding me already.

Can someone shed some light on why Penn's LSAT split seems so odd? 25%=164, 50%=169, 75%=170. Why is the difference between 25% and 50% so high? Am I just delusional and this isn't that weird...?

+4 here. I'm keeping hope alive until the ding actually comes. Maybe our apps are in the same pile somewhere and whoever's supposed to be reading them is out sick!idissent wrote:Also UR1 1/26 (and tbh expecting a ding), but based on a cursory glance through the thread, it seems like earlier UR1s have all gotten to UR2, so at least we should be next? In order to keep that gpa median so fuggin high (3.89) they gotta dig down a bit to get 3.9+ applicantsmekepo wrote:Can someone shed some light on why Penn's LSAT split seems so odd? 25%=164, 50%=169, 75%=170. So if I'm at 25% GPA and LSAT btw. 25% & 50% I might not have the greatest chances?Clemenceau wrote:In order to keep that gpa median so fuggin high (3.89) they gotta dig down a bit to get 3.9+ applicantsmekepo wrote:Can someone shed some light on why Penn's LSAT split seems so odd? 25%=164, 50%=169, 75%=170. Unfortunately yes, but that's the same for every school. Being beneath both medians is rough.mekepo wrote:So if I'm at 25% GPA and LSAT btw. If I don't hear move from UR1/hear by March, I'll just consider it a ding.idissent wrote:It looks like there weren't any UR2s last week, so we're like suuuuper due.leslieknope wrote:+4 here. When replying to the waitlist email, does it need to be more than a sentence accepting a position on the waitlist?

Has anyone who applied at the beginning of January been WLd or dinged? Or just acceptances?

Still UR1 1/26. Just wondering if anyone with similar dates--anyone who submitted early Jan--has yet been rejected or WLd.
