WTF!
Exactly. The balance of power is so off, especially when you consider steadily declining applications. I got held from ED-waitlisted at a school. HOW MANY REVIEWS DO YOU NEED? IT'S BINARY! /endrant

NU better have a reason for making applicants sweat through two portals and endless F5s just to find out whether they got in or not...

...I'm stuck at Decision letter mailed + no change on the delivery system....

Still at DLS from December. ED people that got held are counted as part of the group that applied before December, right?

Unexpected, since all predictors gave me 80-90% chance of admission, and I interviewed.
What the hell.
:(

Although it looks like hold just means they want you to wait some more...

I'm setting thirty minute increments to check the DLS. Every half hour on the half hour. No work getting done today. Gonna go buy the new Father John Misty album and drink some whiskey. God bless everyone.

Yeah could we get confirmation that the second batch already happened? Still complete but got an email from the admissions office awhile ago confirming something on my app.

They didn't want to change the 8-10 week date again (why even have a deadline? but I digress), so they just took everyone in the pre-Dec 1 pile and auto-held them.

Held. I don't have great numbers but pretty unique work experience, so I guess it's true they really do like WE.

In the held group, complete on Dec. 1. Interview on campus was like two weeks before that.

Guys wasn't the 11 week wait fun? Let's do it for another 11. See you in April!

Held. Haven't I been on hold this entire time? Not that I feel entitled to an acceptance but I literally could not find someone on LSN/myLSN who didn't get accepted with my numbers. Im just going to withdraw.

The Northwestern experience has been an all around bad one.

Are the majority of you guys getting your "helds" via Status Check or the Decision Letter Site, or elsewhere?

I guess they are going by my second UR date and not my first one since it looks like I'm passed over this week, too. Great.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
