In the email from GULC, I think they say to contact them if you haven't heard after 2 weeks.

True, but another 2 weeks of waiting for the interview...then more time to get the decision. Gah going nuts here... :P

Today marks exactly 3 weeks since my ED application went complete. I know it is more of a guideline than a hard timeline but hopefully it means something is coming. Being borderline would be the nicest way to describe my numbers so I am not sure if hearing absolutely nothing yet is a good thing or a bad thing. I guess we are about to find out just how much veteran status plays anytime now.

What is the usual turnaround from alumni interview to decision?

I'm curious if anyone knows how common it is to be asked to do an alumni interview? Sounds like a lot of people are doing/have done them?

Don't know but I got one around a month after I applied. People with stronger/weaker numbers have gotten them too. I can't for the life of me figure out why some people get them and some people don't. Even some YP candidates and some that seem to have borderline stats don't get them and are admitted without them.

Yeah I'd say business casual. A nice blazer/sweater and maybe some slacks. If you have sperrys or something equally classy that would work. I'm not a guy but that's how I'd dress if I was, lol.

By the way, what's the paying etiquette for the interviews?

good luck ergo!! beard or no beard?
I just got out and I think it was great. The interviewer was very friendly and open about the process, and answered all of my questions.

I kept it, though trimmed it substantially, so I'm not sure if what I have can be considered an outright beard compared to what I used to have haha

So do invitations to interview have any implication of your application status in their consideration? Does everyone get an interview? Or do only candidates who have potential get alumni interviews?

Candidates who are asked to interview are being considered for acceptance, so yes it's a good thing. Not everyone gets an interview. People do get accepted without interviewing, and also get rejected without interviewing.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
