Mine alum hasn't contacted me yet- how long before I should be worried?

In the email from GULC, I think they say to contact them if you haven't heard after 2 weeks.ticklemesilly wrote:ErgoSum wrote:Interview scheduled this week with an alum at my local court house. Time to trim the beard, at least a little :O

Yeah I'd say business casual. A nice blazer/sweater and maybe some slacks. If you have sperrys or something equally classy that would work. I'm not a guy but that's how I'd dress if I was, lol.biglawhopeful18 wrote:I'm wondering about (men's) attire for the alumni interview. Mine will take place at a Starbucks so I'm gonna go ahead and rule out a suit. Is business casual the obvious answer? Thoughts?
I am also wondering this. I interviewed one week ago.keosu11 wrote:What is the usual turnaround from alumni interview to decision?
I asked for a full ride + stipend.rwe13 wrote:Super unsure of what to say for how much funding would make a differencehaha
Wondering the same. Delay may not be bad.Grunt2Grad wrote:Today marks exactly 3 weeks since my ED application went complete. I know it is more of a guideline than a hard timeline but hopefully it means something is coming. Being borderline would be the nicest way to describe my numbers so I am not sure if hearing absolutely nothing yet is a good thing or a bad thing. I guess we are about to find out just how much veteran status plays anytime now.

I just got out and I think it was great. The interviewer was very friendly and open about the process, and answered all of my questions.Gray wrote:good luck ergo!! beard or no beard?ErgoSum wrote:interview time

I kept it, though trimmed it substantially, so I'm not sure if what I have can be considered an outright beard compared to what I used to have haha
Candidates who are asked to interview are being considered for acceptance, so yes it's a good thing. Not everyone gets an interview. People do get accepted without interviewing, and also get rejected without interviewing.monkeyKT wrote:So do invitations to interview have any implication of your application status in their consideration? Does everyone get an interview? Or do only candidates who have potential get alumni interviews?
