I don't think ppl with a ur date of 1/21 or later will hear anything today. Still it's hard not to keep refreshing this thread, status checker and email.

But are we able to say that everyone with a UR of before 1/21 is safe today? And are either auto admits or FR2?

No, some ppl have been denied with early January UR dates. No one is safe.

It's still lunchtime in Berkeley. Day isn't over yet.

Decided to check spam. I apparently got a fee waiver from UC San Diego. But nothing else really important.

We probably can't say that with certainty just yet... but let's bring back some optimism and hope that those of us who are left could be admitted without going through FR2!

Or maybe getting excited for a post-lunch admit wave???
(We can only hope. I think at this point I'm slated for FR2 at best.)

It all depends if Berkeley's done with this current wave of rejections. Whoever's UR before the 1/21 date and still left standing after this wave is over probably is either admitted or in FR2.

I wish there was a decision tracker for law schools. Sort of like the pizza tracker at Domino's.
"Sending out rejections now..."
"Sending out acceptances between 2-4 pm..."
"Reviewing FR files now..."
I think I might actually pay money for that service.

They're mad about being bumped from 7th to 9th! Time to compensate by rejecting amazing candidates?

+1 jk. If Stanford is the Harvard of west, CAL is like West's equivalent of Yale.

I have a mini-heart attack each time I get an email. First it was a Brazilian youth orchestra, then RSVP confirmation for another school's Admit Day. Hoping the next one isn't a rejection...

I keep checking to make sure my phone hasn't died. It's on 86% battery. xD
Edit: After I posted, the only word on the top of the screen was "rejection..." in your last post, and the terror I felt was indescribable.

Have there been multiple waves in the same day in past weeks?

So, I saw this post (there's a debate about whether or not this supposed AI is actually an AI, and not a promotion for a video game or something): --LinkRemoved--
It sort of changed everything for me. xD

I submitted on deadline day. Has anyone who submitted their app so close to the deadline heard back yet? My app has been complete since 2/4 (they moved right away, which I thought was encouraging).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
