This term just makes me feel so much worse.

an unautomatic admit is just as good on the day that it comes. the only really ugly word is rejection.

idk if this has been discussed before but, my status checker has the word "if" in between the bio/address box and the status box is this some sort of curse mark?

haha, nope, but that confuses a lot of people. If you scroll to the bottom of your status checker you will see the rest of the sentence. For whatever reason, the "if" floats above all the boxes.

It was one of two glitches reported about the SLS status checker last year; the other was that emails were changed to lower-case letters right before an admit call. Sadly, admissions fixed the useful glitch but left the weird one.

Now that we are in Feb. I have started anxiously checking the status checker fearing everytime the appearance of that DLS status. At this point it isn't a matter of if but of when for me.

Getting DLS (or Decision Letter Sent) on the status checker without an accompanying phone call of admission is a sign of WL/rejection, I think.

In previous cycles, if your status checker changed to DLS and you hadn't received a call before the change, it meant either WL or rejection. You could call the office and find out which one so you didn't have to wait for the actual letter to arrive (though it seems like they historically release waitlist decisions late-like April-so if you go DLS before then, it's likely a ding).

Not that it's going to matter for you since you're going to get an acceptance call anyway .

This happens to anyone that is going through google and searching for the status checker. Either use the link provided in the e-mail, or go through their website and look for the link there.

Last year, if your status changed to "decision letter sent" and you hadn't received a phone call or email, you had been waitlisted/dinged.

My status has been at "Your file has been submitted for review." since 1/24. Couple of days = 10+?

That's the last status you get until you get a decision. So you're fine.
