still stuck at UR 1/7 as well. no faculty review as of yet. when did you go complete?

Doubt it. There are plenty of us stuck at way earlier dates.

Berkeley has a round of FR2, right? How does that work? The "maybe" ones who applied later in the cycle and the "maybe-maybe" ones left from FR1 will go to FR2?

I think the maybe-maybe ones from FR1 are waitlisted and those who get FR2 are maybes who applied later in the cycle.

I definitely remember that someone went through both FR1 and FR2 to finally get accepted last year.

Side note: I'm watching Arrested Development now, on episode 4...not feeling it so far.

I just got the Faculty Review Email! I'm actually pretty ecstatic! Berkeley is by far my number one and I was expecting an outright ding! Still probably a long shot, but I'm hoping for some love!

I will say there's too much sex and nudity in it. The story lines are so good that it doesnt need it. I mean the dude had six wives and threw out the catholic church to found The Church of England. Furthermore two of his daughters sat on the throne while his one legitimate son died before he could ascend. If that doesnt intrigue you well, pox, pox, pox.

I am still UR. Thank you for the positivity. Sometimes when I buy a lottery ticket for a powerball drawing or some other such long shot I like to start to plan what I would do with the money.

Waiting for a decision from Berkeley is reminiscent of that feeling.

Edit: Looking over LSN it appears Feb. 16 was the biggest d-day last year (this is more or less consistent with the ding chart from Shadowofjazz). However, Jan. 9th and, to an even greater degree, the 23rd had a large number of dings. Both of those latter days were Mondays.
