I think so. Last year it was done in the middle of next week.msblaw89 wrote:We should be finding out soon if we are going to faculty review... right?

What if we selected [no] to student review -- can it still go to faculty review and not be read by students?
[edit: just to make it clear, i believe there are students who sit on this committee, hence the question]

I got accepted to both UVA and NU despite my low LSAT, and got rejected from Berkeley. I got accepted to numerous other top 20-30 schools with $$ and Berkeley has been my only ding so far. I just found out that Berkeley's median on LSN is 173/3.81, so the mystery is solved I guess:)
Anyway, hope you have applied to other T14 schools that you are interested in. But if you are good fit at Berkeley I'm sure they will admit you:)
Reverse splitter - 163/4.0
What about you? I've heard Berkeley is one of the most forgiving when it comes to lower LSAT numbers but I'm getting super anxious about my chances...
Congrats on UVA and NU!! That's so exciting and your acceptances give me hope!! (I've applied to both as well). Out of curiosity, how long were the lapses between your Completes and when you found out you got accepted?

I have no idea if this is actually going to happen.. but I have a hunch some acceptances/ rejections will go out tomorrow an possibly and e-mai to those who are going into faculty review. Does anyone know if everyone who is a potential WL goes to faculty review? Or will WL happen regardless

Thank you. I'm glad it give you hope:)
The time lapse I think was about a month for UVA and a little longer for NU. Hope you'll have some good news soon!!!

I'm with you. Except they don't hate us. Berk adcoms love us so much they want to keep us in their stack as long as possible, reading and rereading our lovely personal statements, gaining wisdom and insight into the human condition with each additional pass through our prose.Zelda wrote:Why does Berkeley hate us.msblaw89 wrote:Samesies x2curiousgeorgia wrote:Samesies.norcal_youngin wrote:11/22er

I like this. They probably obsessed over our applications so much, they were able to attach us to our TLS profiles and, being intimidated by the other awesome schools we have all been accepted to, are taking extra care to pick out the right $$ packages for us.Campagnolo wrote:

I've thought about this, they know people smudge numbers on this site and that actually a small minority of applicants make a big presence on the forum. So trying to match is hard, and then they must know they could be wrong. My moniker has no connection to my name. I don't think they would take the chance of definitively linking tls profiles to applicants because they know it would totally be unfair to the applicant if they were wrong.thelawschoolproject wrote:If this is the case...I am screwed. To be clear, I was being (mostly) sarcastic. I would think, and would hope, that the adcomms have much better things to do with their time than troll TLS and try to match applicants to profiles.
But, I think the paranoia we share of being "found out" is only natural, especially under the undue stress that delayed decisions are causing us. 11/22ers, amirite!?

Really thought we'd be seeing some acceptances today. Haven't they mostly been going out in the morning PST?
