hope so, but honestly I'd be pretty tempted to go with NYU either way so I probably don't deserve to. hope you get in too!
Psht. As if I could go to a school without my spreadsheet twin... i'd probably take nyu as well
Would you guys really take NYU? Interested to hear why.[/quote]
Haha I'll pm you, don't want to be off-putting to those with Columbia as their first choice

I think people really need to relax if they can't get through to the enroll page. Multiple people with auto-admit stats haven't been able to get there. I have a feeling that they're doing applications either in waves, or they're in the process of updating admitted student's log-in features as we speak. I think we need to wait it out before assuming anyone who can't enroll is WL/reject.

This is why I shouldn't come here. Every time I see something like this I get my hopes up and then end up disappointed. Even when I know this is just the first wave, and my numbers aren't auto-admit, and I wasn't a super early applicant, etc. etc.

They also WL tons of super qualified people every year. Not holding my breath.

Really? I'm looking at LSN for Columbia last year and there seems to be a grid around 3.7-4.0 and 174 to 180 where the vast majority of applicants were accepted...and a couple were WLed.

Also unable to log in, not giving up hope though, didn't someone say there were multiple post-marks last year? it would make sense that they'd only let those whose letters are in the mail log in. also, is there any correlation between submit dates and decisions? oh well, congrats to
everyone who got in and good luck to everyone else who's still waiting.

Nah, doesn't seem like there's a correlation. I'm a pretty negative person so I'm going to go ahead and assume I'm not in/WLed, but there are a surprising number of people with good numbers and scores who aren't in that ARE in other great places. I'd be surprised if there was something horribly wrong with every single one of us (not like Chicago with it's small class), and not that surprised if there was a second wave, especially considering the postmark thing from last year.

Can't log in.

At LSAT median and above GPA 75th. Really disappointed but I think it means we're headed for dings/WLs. I have a feeling they update everything all at once, and by the time VCEs go out, they have it all done (it'd be weird if someone got a VCE and couldn't login, ya know? -- they probably made sure to do all of this beforehand).
Very, very disappointed. I was SO looking forward to this but, 'tis was not meant to be.
Congrats to HP and everyone else who got in though!

Seriously, you have great numbers, I would wait for multiple waves before being disappointed. I would be really surprised if you didn't get in

It seems like there was a lot of high LSAT love from Columbia today (obviously that includes mostly auto-admits). It seems like a lot of us who had 172 or below, even with success at other T6/T3s, could not get into the enrollment page. Perhaps they're doing a later batch that includes those at CLS's median LSAT (172) and below. Or, more likely, there's no correlation and I'm just trying to feel better!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
