Thanks. I think surviving the WL/Ding/Hold onslaught from last Friday meant they made the decision before and just didn't get to my call last week. Hopefully it's also good news for you.

Thanks Philly. I am going to be at Penn doing undergraduate recruiting events in the next few weeks, do you know anything about Penn's LS tour schedules?

You can just go and do a self-guided tour. You can also arrange to sit in on classes if you arrange in advance. So email them. Let me know when you are coming, maybe you can join us for happy hours or something. Are you helping with grad admissions? Where?

Great, good to know. I am giving a presentation and interviewing Wharton undergrads for my consulting firm. I'll PM you when I know my schedule for my interview day.

Guys...I have the worst question in the world.

So I'm on the WL and I realized, when looking at the Chicago thread because of my WL there (it's been a waity kind of week), that Penn Law requires a "Why Penn?"

I, uh...I didn't do one. I was doing my applications from internet access costing forty cents a minute over 10,000 miles from home, so I completely spaced that it was a requirement. Would sending one be a good idea, or would it draw attention to the fact that I completely ignored their Why Penn requirement in the same way I ignored the PS length limit?

The Penn 5-year is not a requirement IRC. It's part of the three supplemental essays, all of which are optional. People say it's a "requirement' based on admission from past cycles. So sending one would be a good idea, yes.

EDIT: You have to choose one of the three.
