W&M seems to do a really good job of providing admitted students with alums to talk to (I've been contacted by two different people so far).

Yup, mine's been blank the whole time as well. But they sent me an email to tell me it was complete.

Did you request this contact or did you just get a couple calls out of the blue? I'd definitely be interested in chatting with a W&M alum here in TX...

I'd be interested in this too, since I want to come back to Texas after school... did you request this?

No, I didn't request anything... they just emailed me. And one of them is actually both from and works in my home state (not VA) so it is actually really helpful.

nope, i think w&m gave him my contact and he emailed me if i wanted to talk. we talked over the phone and he had a lot of useful info. i also want to come back to texas and that is the main issue of whether i am going to w&m or not. he was able to secure a job in texas from his past connections so the convo didn't really help me on that front.

Did everyone else who was accepted get that email this morning asking to let them know if you've committed to go to a different law school?

Yes. Half of the schools I'm waiting on have not even sent me their financial aid packets.

Has anyone who saw the all-to-brief status checker change a little while ago heard any news?

It's now 2 months since I've been complete and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm just a number for the admin stats. (I'm around 75% LSAT, foreign GPA)
Sad thing is, although I haven't been able to visit the 'burg (full-time job, doesn't pay too well!), from what I've gathered I would really like it there.

Why no updates William?! :?
Don't you like me anymore Mary?! :?

LOCI? No grades to add, could only say that I'm still very very interested. I don't know...

I'm going to take credit for this event; as I may have sent in a letter of continued interest yesterday despite the fact that no decision has been rendered.

I waited two months for them to make their decision, they can wait two months for me to make mine.

Yeah, got it. Seems kind of early to send an email like that... I'm still waiting to hear back from a bunch of schools.

Same, I'm still waiting on almost half the places I applied.

Yeah I was kind of surprised to get an email like that so early.

I thought I would share that they increased my scholarship from $8k/year to $13k/year.

Just got an email from William and Mary yesterday asking me to apply and giving me a fee waiver, but i believe this is pointless considering how late in the application cycle it is and my numbers are way low considering w&m( 3.65, 158)

Well, if it only costs 12 dollars, you may as well do it if you're interested in W&M.

Some positives in your corner:

Your GPA is strong
Law School apps are down 12% through January.
W&M doesn't have true rolling admissions, most decisions are made later in the cycle from what I've gathered.
Did I mention its only 12 dollars?!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
