I've been complete for over 3 months with an LSAT far above their 75th and a GPA slightly under the median. In the interim, peer schools have given me a full scholarship and have sent alumni to develop relationships with me. Good job killing being one of my top choices, Fordham.

They really try to weed out gunner types.

LOL. I'm not a gunner. It's just like if you go to 2 restaurants that are equally well regarded, and in 1 restaurant you're outright ignored for an hour and in another they seat you right away and the chef brings you a complementary appetizer, who will you feel you owe more to when you go on Yelp?

This analogy is dumb.

Admittedly, I did not put much thought into the analogy and there are many holes into it.

only people who applied before Oct 15th with an Oct LSAT score are entitled to a decision by a certain date. Splitter cycles, which you appear fall under, are notoriously hard to predict and each school treats them differently.

only 25% of Fordham got NJL250 firm jobs. And a solid 50-70 of those firms are horseshit ID defense type gigs.

That was still before the TANK in the 2009 OCI.

Who cares? What did I say that was incorrect/shouldn't factor into a decision?

The new NLJ250 stats.

Class of 2010 and class of 2011 is considered the "lost generation" from the 2009 crash so brace yourself for next year.

So someone entering the school in 2011 could reasonably expect at least 25% for his or her class

Hey, C_L! Would you do me a favor and repost that link? I can't find it at the moment and - while it's certainly not the most positive news - I do think it's informative. (Also, tbh? I was pleased with how well Fordham placed, given the circumstances.)

EDIT: Nevermind, found it: http://www.law.com/jsp/nlj/PubArticleNL ... hbxlogin=1

If we are entering law school 2010, I wonder if we can expect at least a marginal boost by the time we look for our jobs...

Well, I like to think so... but then again, I'm one of the more optimistic folks on TLS. (And for transparency, I am not going into Big Law and have no dog in this hunt.)

You'll be lucky if the hiring outlook is the same as this year. These jobs are leaving, and they ain't comin' back.

Just updated to complete 3/1...how many complete dates did those of you who got a decision get before the decision? Was it 2 or 3?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
