WL at Virginia today.

Rejected from Berkeley as soon as they got my app.

In at Texas (I'm a Texas resident) with $12.5k/yr

Waiting on NYU, Columbia, Chicago, Harvard, Penn, Cornell (anyone have a guess on my chances at any of these schools with a 171 and 3.79) I'd really love to hear from NYU, not optimistic enough to worry about Harvard or Columbia.

Just got access to the NYU admitted students website. I'm guessing that means a purple envelope is on its way ...

Applied middle of January, went complete 1/25, I think? Glad to get some good news today -- was feeling pretty down on my chances after getting into GULC a few weeks ago but hearing nothing from anyone else. Now if only the others would hurry up ...

Kind of. They'll reconsider your application and give you decision around April.

So it is a waitlist that goes until April instead of through the summer...

Complete same day I applied, 01/14.

I went complete around the same time, on 1/11. Hopefully this means I'll get a decision in the near future as well.

Kinda shocked you'd let that GPA go to waste with a 153 LSAT. Any chance you could retake and apply next cycle?

+1. Borderline tragedy if you don't retake.

Also got that today. Any information on admit chances for holds? It seems like there is cause for optimism: if they didn't like something about our applications we would probably in the WL or reject piles.
