I was thinking about driving from New England, if I ever get in.

I haven't done a long road trip in awhile and it kind of sounds like fun, but maybe it's just one of those things that looks better on paper....

I just registered for the admitted students day. Long drive from Texas. Someone better have a drink with me when I get there.

i thought about driving for the outerbanks of nc but i found out that it was a 15-hour drive. i think the max i could do in a day is probably 12.

I have family in Tulsa, so I can make it a two part trip. Only a 6.5 hour drive from Tulsa. I think I max out at about 10 hours in one day.

Yeah.....the driving idea is starting to seem deeply flawed.

fwiw, im a huge fan of road trips. In college my two best friends and I drove from baltimore to texas and it was one of the best times of my life. We stopped at this pit beef place in memphis that was amazing, we almost ran out of gas in the middle of the night deep in the bayou, and we stopped at south by southwest on the way. It was awesome

but doing it alone seems a bit more lonely/boring. If you get someone to go with you though, it could be a great time

+1....Some of the 2/3 updates were only their second update and the majority of batch that got accepted this week had three updates, im guessing we will have to have another update before a decision.

They're screwing with me. They're on this board, they're reading my posts, and they're just screwing with me I called off the wait (for myself) literally 20 minutes ago, as shown above ^^^. What happens 20 minutes later? Flood gates open. Very funny, WUSTL.
