Well I do have a full-time job right now, I was just willing to leave it for law school. But I have no problem keeping it and using that $$ instead of all loans.odon59 wrote:If you hunt through their website you can find the guidelines and form. It seems pretty straightforward and required "good academic standing". The form, as I recall, had something on it that made me think you could transfer after one semester or two. I could be wrong about that.
It would definitely look suspicious if you apply to PT with no valid reason for doing so. I went the PT route, but I've been an engineer for 6 years and hopefully will get a patent agent/scientific advisor job.

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
I mean, I am thinking of the PT program now, but I would still leave my job. My job is already 12+ hours a day, I get out too late to attend any class that starts before 8pm, and even then I have no idea when I am supposed to study for class...or sleep.
I am wondering if Fordham would be okay if I got my masters degree while doing my first year JD part time??

Ugh. I HAVE to keep my job - have to support my family - so I need the PT program.
I hope they take things like that into account.

What time do the part time classes typically start/end?

Ruby, so sorry to hear about your WL...but I have a good feeling that they will let you in. They just like to string everyone along first, which in my opinion, totally sucks.

If you have already been WL'ed as an EA applicant, can you ask to be considered for PT or is it too late for that? Because if I was a WL for FT, I feel like I would have gotten in PT.

Withdrew my application from the waitlist today. Hopefully it will somehow open up a spot for somebody who really, really wants to go to Fordham! Good luck everybody!

If you are complete 11/2, I'm assuming you submitted by 11/1, correct? If that's the case, then you ARE EA, because everyone who submitted by then is automatically EA. So yes, if you don't hear by the 15th, call.texaspecial88 wrote:But I wasn't EA, still think I should call if I don't hear by the 15th?vsg211 wrote:I would only call if you haven't heard by December 15..texaspecial88 wrote:Im still complete as of 11/2... Oh wow, thanks for the info, I thought the EA deadline was earlier. Now i'm really freaking out about not hearing back yet. Given that everyone else has I am starting to think my application is lost or something...NancyBotwin wrote:If you are complete 11/2, I'm assuming you submitted by 11/1, correct? It was earlier originally, but because they were so late getting the app out, they changed it. Normally it's Oct 15th, just not this year.texaspecial88 wrote: Oh wow, thanks for the info, I thought the EA deadline was earlier. Now i'm really freaking out about not hearing back yet. If you received a status checker and "complete" status then I think it's safe to say that your app hasn't been lost (!) and you're still being evaluated. Good luck!texaspecial88 wrote:
