Re: Harvard 2010!
Day two of JR2s has officially begun.
I had a missed call from HLS at 8:23am EST (I was probably at the top of today's call list, since it's already evening in my time zone). My phone doesn't have voicemail, so JR followed up with an email six minutes later welcoming me to the class of 2013.
Good luck to those still waiting, may it be a fruitful day of acceptances!

People who get JR2s today: please post either when you submitted your app or when your JR1 was. If I get a call, it won't be until after 12 EST today given that JR still thinks I'm on the West Coast, but I'd like to know if I can reasonably expect one or if all of today's calls are to people who applied later/had their JR1 later.

Re: Harvard 2010!
I got my JR2 yesterday morning at around 11am EST and I applied 10/27ish with my JR1 on 11/16, so I can't imagine that they're going in any sort of chronological order... In fact, my guess is that aside from timezone it's more or less completely random. Really can't think of any reason my call would have come on the earlier side (not where any of my initials fall in the alphabet, nor when I applied, nor the relative awesomeness of my app-- still stunned I got in).crackberry wrote:People who get JR2s today: please post either when you submitted your app or when your JR1 was. Well it certainly seems like the pace of JR2s going out today is a trickle compared to yesterday's flood.

Either that or he is calling people who are not on TLS.

Re: Harvard 2010!
Congrats to those that have been accepted!
Does anyone know when the first round of rejections and/or waitlists go out? Both my LSAT and GPA hover around their 25th percentile so my expectations are not too high, but I've been under review for a month.

Last yr they saved all WLs and rejections for March/April and those were sent via email IIRC.js87 wrote:Congrats to those that have been accepted!

Re: Harvard 2010!
they may be coming out earlier this year though - didn't they mention something about not wanting to leave people hanging for more than two months any more? not that i would mind hanging out on their waitlist...hopefulundergrad wrote:Last yr they saved all WLs and rejections for March/April and those were sent via email IIRC.js87 wrote:Congrats to those that have been accepted!

So happy for all the people who have been accepted! I wonder what today will bring!
It's also nice to have people to commiserate with over my lack of JR1.

I had my JR1 Friday, but no JR2. If you want, we can commiserate, too.amidea wrote:Feel free to commiserate with megrrrstick wrote:So happy for all the people who have been accepted! I wonder what today will bring!

I'm starting to get depressed. I thought I had a shot with a 176, 3.9, and 5 years of work experience. JR1 was a couple weeks ago but no JR2...Core wrote:I had my JR1 Friday, but no JR2. You do. We have two days, and there are some JR2s in early-mid December for the pre-Thanksgiving JR1s.janer wrote:I'm starting to get depressed. Aww don't lose hope yet! At least you've had a JR1 - you're already one step closer to an acceptance than the majority of people out there.janer wrote:I'm starting to get depressed. Your numbers are better than mine but I'm in the same boat. JR1 was in early November, no JR2 yet.janer wrote:I'm starting to get depressed. If you haven't gotten one yet then that gives me some hope, since I'd guess you have a very good chance of one yet to come.janer wrote:I'm starting to get depressed. I thought I had a shot with a 176, 3.9, and 5 years of work experience. JR1 was a couple weeks ago but no JR2...

I have similar numbers, except I haven't even gotten a JR1 yet.

Re: Harvard 2010!
I'm given some hope by the fact that according to LSN only one URM has gotten a JR2, and I know there are a bunch of other <170 URMS who got JR1s.

Re: Harvard 2010!
I find it a little strange that apparently 0 calls have gone out today to people currently living in the U.S. I guess he could be calling solely people who aren't on TLS, but that explanation seems dubious at best given the preponderance of JR2s to TLS people yesterday.

Re: Harvard 2010!
This anxious waiting period to see if I get a JR2 is worse than the overall application process and waiting for an LSAT score.crackberry wrote:I find it a little strange that apparently 0 calls have gone out today to people currently living in the U.S. I guess he could be calling solely people who aren't on TLS, but that explanation seems dubious at best given the preponderance of JR2s to TLS people yesterday.
I hope you agree.
