Re: Chicago C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Does anyone have a good idea of the timeline between interview and accept/deny/etc?
I interviewed on president's day and am wondering when I might expect to hear something.

I was in the 2/9 batch of interview invites and am tentatively thinking middle of next week for decisions, based on the four weeks minus a day timeline from interview request to decision for the last batch on this thread. We'll get more information when we start seeing UR4 dates.sadie2law wrote:Does anyone have a good idea of the timeline between interview and accept/deny/etc?

Jeeeeeeez, my UR1 is taking forever. I guess I can wait, but I'm all ready to get excited and start hanging out in the applicants thread.

Is there data compiled somewhere about what aid you're likely to score based on numbers for those of us who aren't Ruby caliber? If not I realize we all have to be patient, but just curious as I'm really hoping that Chicago will be more financially feasible than I am currently imagining

based off of lsn, it seems like they're pretty stingy beyond the ruby. I haven't seen many awards >=100k.lsa16 wrote:Is there data compiled somewhere about what aid you're likely to score based on numbers for those of us who aren't Ruby caliber? Wait.... Kinch08 did you mean you've been at UR1 for forever or it is taking forever to go UR1?scoot456 wrote:+1 UR1 1/27. I'm complete as of early February and still waiting just to go UR1! Submitted in mid-January. Perhaps this is not a good sign =(.

I feel like they're moving even more slowly than usual? Took me 5.5 weeks to go UR1.batlaw wrote:Wait.... Yeah, I wouldn't worry yet. I was complete for a month before going UR1, then waited another three weeks for the interview request.chandhi wrote:I feel like they're moving even more slowly than usual? Edit: I would worry and I did worry. I was anxious the whole time waiting for that interview request, and it is only now in hindsight that I can be nonchalant about a month's worth of waiting time. I mean to say, hang in there, because this process brings out the worst, most neurotic side of a lot of people, but it doesn't sound like there's any real indicator of something being wrong.

I was also in 2/9 batch of interviews and I just went UR4 today.
