Me too- also snail mail makes it worse in that it seems like they're taking extra effort to reject me...
^this
And what if it gets lost?!? Forever in purgatory :/
Knowing my mailman, this seems like a distinct possibility...

were you admitted?
Yep! In via e-mail. Submitted early January, interview early February. GPA = 50th, LSAT > 75th. No named scholarship.
Also admitted this morning via email! Exact same timeline and stats.

Is there any pattern to what time of the day decisions tend to go out?

It tends to be around 3 PM EST, though it's come a little earlier than that on some days (2, 2:30) and even around noontime on one day that I can remember.

Got a JS1 within a month of going complete, plus an admit at NYU, but no word at all from Columbia. Is this normal?

Hey everyone, I received an email from Columbia asking me for my fall 2015 grades, did anyone else receive the same email? What should I make of this?

There's a ton of us in the same boat. There's some speculation that they may be quasi-YPing us - basically holding us for later in the cycle to see how their class shapes up and if they need to attract the above/around both 75ths with money or not. Super frustrating especially since a lot of us are planning to go to NYU ASWs and would really like to know if we should add on an extra day or not for Columbia!

That's unfortunate. I'm actually based nearby so going to an NYU ASW and Columbia ASW in different weeks or even months won't be much of a problem for me, but I can't imagine having to deal with that if I were planning on going to, say, a Stanford and Berkeley ASW.

Just got the little envelope in the mail, so looks like my dreams of following in Matt Murdock's footsteps have been crushed. Best of luck to everyone else!

Yeah, I would go to NYU's ASW if I got into Columbia, but right now, probably won't go.

Got the snail mail ding today as well. We're having almost identical cycles.

Chicken, Bacon, and Pineapple. It's especially delicious with a white sauce instead of tomato.

I think rejection is a traumatic enough event that you qualify for some super sense.
