Do you mind sharing your numbers?dawnk wrote:Just got accepted through PT after 9 days. I wouldn't even have applied to Duke had I not received the PT invite, but now I am excited at the prospect of attending Duke!
Best of luck to all those still waiting to hear back =)

Is it strange that it's day 9 and I'm still UR1? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Re: Duke University School of Law C/O 2019 Applicants
Hey friends - I was one of the September ins (woo!) and have been reading this for a bit.
Do y'all think a CCN acceptance or even (dreaming now) a smaller scholarship offer from a CCN compared to whatever Duke would offer would be useful in negotiating a higher scholarship? If Duke offers someone a cool 60k or zero dollars (lets be real here) or something and they let them know they got into Columbia or Chicago would it be an "ah nice here's more money" or "come on it's not HYS we're all peers over here in the T10 other than those guys". Same question but with "hey Chicago/Columbia gave me less money than you but can I get more money from you???". Anyone seen, heard, pondered about this at all? Obviously case by case but in general whaddaya think?
I don't have any sort of scholarship yet to be clear but would reaaaallly like to! (Posted this on the UVA thread too so if I left any UVAs in have mercy!!!)
Thanks friends! Best of luck with your cycles.

Like many others before me, it's day 9 of my PT wait and the anticipation has drawn me out of the lurker shadows. Earlier today, I got an email on my phone from a name that started with "Duke" and my heart stopped beating and then it turned out to be from "Duke Energy."
Knowing exactly when a decision will come is both the best and the worst.

Hi, I have a dumb question-
I just submitted under PT and I was looking at this thread and I'm unable to figure out exactly what the difference is between UR 1 and 2. Is there somewhere in the thread where this is explained?

Nervous wait over: I got the acceptance email this afternoon. I kinda wish I didn't have to wait until December to do the scholarship application, but it's still great to have a decision this early. I wish every school would let me know within 10 days.
