I imagine they'll smooth out a little bit as more of the October takers submit their apps, but the current Average days between interview and decision is 0.29.

Yea I figured that too, but I made it extra hard.benwyatt wrote:I mostly don't care if people are able to identify me. (That's honestly part of why I don't mind that I spend all day on here, it provides cover)

Re: UVA c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Debt has started to sink in since my first acceptance. I am really keen on scholarships, but yea if things are comparable....benwyatt wrote:True. My UVA hype is pretty strong too.gobears!! wrote:
No one has time to read through posts haha. UVA has to know us though; if they don't, I would willingly tell them haha.
Scholarships will obviously play a big role in my decision but I think it would be hard to lure me away from UVA at this point as long as scholarship offers are at least comparable.

Ben with the rational approach and I agree. I felt the same way with Michigan, but the 300k debt is not worth the ED, even if it is your dream school. Apply RD and if you get in, great and maybe ask for some aid. If not, your numbers are competitive with some t20 schools where you can get some money.benwyatt wrote:mylsn gives you a ~40% chance if you ED and a 9% chance RD. Of the ED people, 0 received money. Of the RD 1 person received 30K.stig2014 wrote:Been strongly considering ED'ing to UVA lately. Pretty recent infatuation, but I have a hard time believing I'd want to go anywhere else if I was lucky enough to get in. Don't think I have much of a chance regardless of ED or not; but according to Spivey's blog, splitters are 4 times more likely to get in ED at UVA. Can anyone talk me out of it, at the end of the day not sure it's very rational? GPA:3.17 LSAT:170
In making this decision you have to ask yourself if you have an extra $300K lying around.
If the answer is "No" then don't do it.
If the answer is "Yes" probably still don't do it.

Yeah, I know you guys are right. The preftige really had me there for a minute. It's certainly tempting for someone on the edge though, but at the end of the day I just want minimal debt and big law Thanks for talking me off the edge; best of luck this cycle. The Abyss wrote:Ben with the rational approach and I agree.
