Waitlisted. The cat bump didn't help but at least I can try to be productive again!

EDIT: I mean held, didn't realise there was a difference. Whoops

:( I'm also on hold.
Unexpected, since all predictors gave me 80-90% chance of admission, and I interviewed.
What the hell.

nah its just like cornell's "reserve"
you get re-evaluated in april/may and either dinged or WL'd (most likely), or accepted (very unlikely)

im so down right now

According to FAQ, WL goes into effect only after the class is full. Not sure if that means those of us held will automatically turn into waitlisters once they've extended a full incoming class worth of offers.

What is the appropriate protocol for "Decision Letter Mailed within 24 hours"? Does it mean that I should keep on refreshing the decision letter service, or should in expect an email when it is available? Good luck to all!!

What does "held" mean? Is that the actual decision you're getting, or did you apply early decision? I just went DLS w/in 24 hrs. If it's truly just "held", that sounds like a cop-out to actual decisions being made, which is nuts after 11 weeks.

I submitted Dec. 1, but my interview took a while, so I went complete on Jan 7.

My computer has been insanely slow since I stupidly upgraded to Mavericks, and it practically shuts down anytime I go near NU's SC. So who's doing what to whom?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
