I would pay double sticker if they would just let me in, at this point.

^my level of coherence

I know this is awful, but i just got a new computer and can't find the doc where I tracked my UR dates

I DO know though:

-submitted the first day the app came out
-UR1: some time around november (?)
-UR2: 12/11
-status checker still says my ur2 date
-wrote a "Why Penn" essay

Really, it's too much money to take any school except for [maybe] HYS at sticker.

HYS would be the only schools I would consider at sticker, and ONLY because I have some non-biglaw goals. If I knew I wanted biglaw I would take any T6 with $$ or other T14 with $$$ (which you would probably get if you got HYS) over HYS.

I think the fact that I currently have a real job and am paying back real undergrad loans makes my perspective on taking out huge loans a little different than the average K-JD.

I am interested in non-biglaw as well--mostly I want to do government work. upenn's LRAP is insanely forgiving (no interest loans and loan forgiveness up to 140k (if you are making less than ~80k)) and the government can be forgiving as well. Even at full tuition and non-biglaw it seems quite feasible. But still, there's a ton of risk.

My inner monologue:

"They're breaking for lunch.
They're breaking for lunch.
They're breaking for lunch.
They're breaking for lunch.
They're breaking for lunch.
They're breaking for lunch.
They're breaking for lunch."

It's sort of helping.........

There are some encouraging acceptances on LSN for reverse splitters and people on the median!

Are we thinking UR2 1/6 with no acceptance today or yesterday is a wl/ding?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
