Sadly this isn't far from the truth. I caught myself day dreaming while I was on a run the other day. "Oh sorry I'm out of breath Asha, just on a run." Sheesh. I need help.

I think TLS Forums are the equivalent of sports fans feeling like they can do something to help their team win by yelling louder. It makes no difference, but at least makes you feel a little less powerless.

Speak for yourself. Obsessively reading this forum, looking at applicants from past cycles, and dreaming about being accepted is absolutely going to guarantee us all acceptance.

You are completely right. What was I thinking? How dare I question the logic of sifting through countless graphs riddled with selection bias and small sample sizes or incessantly asking other clueless applicants for insight into the complex world of admissions. How could I doubt the value of that. Right? Right?

I had 8 days between received and complete, and they're probably pretty backed up with the 11th hour submissions, so I think you're fine.

I'm in the exact same situation, I think it's because they're swamped with a ton of applications that came in at once. I wouldn't worry about it, at least not yet.

Mine took 11 days before I got the "complete" email, so yep, no worries yet.

The person I met who was dinged within a week had sent in their app last year, so that wasn't a current cycle ding

I think the fastest turnaround of this cycle is about 30 days, according to LSN and the spreadsheet.
