Its interesting the schools BC considers to be peers wit are ranked all over the place, from wustl and gw up at 19/21, BU at 30, and Fordham at like 38.

^That makes me MAF considering BC's employment prospects compared to those schools ranked in the upper-20s/lower-teens.

Is this BC's lowest ever ranking? If so, that is f*cking depressing...

It may well be, but do you really think that they will do anything until they have at least reviewed the January and February apps? My point is that being anxious a big energy waste since more schollies won't likely be forthcoming any time soon. Or at least until BC has made some offers of admissions to Jan applicants, some of which could easily have numbers above the medians, and therefore be scholarship-worthy.

No but I didn't expect to hear back right away. I assume they won't email back and say "we don't know yet" and i assume if they did know they would tell me.. So my email is more like fyi, we're all waiting.

For your sake, I hope I'm wrong, but presenting more schollies this week is just plain illogical. Again, BC has yet to even open the Jan applicantions, much less February, some/many of which will be above their medians. Such applicants WILL receive a scholarship offer. But, since BC has a budget for scholarships, they HAVE to wait until they have a good read on the total pool of eligibles. Only then will they be able to decide how much more they can offer. Thus, IMO, the critical path to more schollies is the acceptances from the Jan applicants.

I'm praying for decisions. I still have too many pending apps, most of which I sent in December. Although I'm maintaining a certain level of patience, it's wearing thin on my mental sanity...

just received my scholarship offer from BU... too early to contact BC about it? should I just wait until the next round of scholarships and if I'm not in it, then contact them? thanks!
