Re: Harvard Waitlist 2012
Total waitlist admit count so far: 39
4 more JS1s/admits reported in, bringing the number of post-initial-wave admits to 9.
These came in addition to 30 in the first wave. (One just reported in "in at H" thread).
And so far we know of 2 declining admission, one from the first wave, one from the second.
The number of people who have claimed WL--> JS1 --> no JS2 is 0.

Make that three. I'm from the first wave and withdrew this week for a Ruby. Hope my spot goes to someone in this thread. Whoever reports a JS1 next owes me a beer... just ship it over to Chicago.marcellus wrote:And so far we know of 2 declining admission, one from the first wave, one from the second.

Make that 10 people reported on TLS in the second wave, as a new admit surfaced in the admitted applicant thread.
And we are awaiting a perhaps another JS1/2 for someone on this thread to take the place curiouscat relinquished.

Anyone know how to withdraw from the school we've deposited at after getting in off the wait list?

And, 11. And also, you owe curiouscat a beer for the JS2 followup from your April KB1.

Just realized that I haven't been receiving email all day. Immediately thought "BUT WHAT IF I GOT A JS1?!"
I seriously just need some closure with this process! LOL

Seems like a lot of schools will be pulling heavily from the WL this year.

Congrats!
On an unrelated note, it looks like the decrease in LSAT takers is really hitting Harvard hard. Looking on LSN, they're dipping below their 170 and 3.8 thresholds a lot more than in recent memory. LSN has a 177/3.4 getting in. Crazy.

Congrats guys!
After reading that article i think Harvard admitted fewer than normal people b4 the WL emails came out. So their yield may not be bad after all.
