SO got home early before our trip and checked the mail. Stats: 168/3.44/OOS/we at NASA and Oxford
Thanks, GPA.
But it's better than a rejection! I will fight for this one. It looks like I'll be flying to Seattle in the next few weeks.

awwww k-rad.
So, my mailman always comes at 12:45. I get here today at five, and he HASN"T SORTED THE MAIL YET. Aarrrrgh.

My mail doesn't come until 4 or 5 pm every day. It's freaking ridiculous. He gets paid over time so he takes his SWEET time. Argh.

Man, if you got wait listed...I feel like there is no way I'll get accepted...I'll probably be dinged or WL'd myself.

Aw snap! That sucks
You were 2/16 right? So that means we've had only waitlists and dings from the 2/16 mailing... I think they are doing waives. LSN shows the same thing for UMN (which you can rely on the dates for cause they call and email). Yesterday was a whole bunch of admits and today was a bunch of wls and dings.

Yup, I was DLS 2/16. Can't say I wasn't expecting this one, but it's still

At least the wait is over... My inevitable ding is still "In Review." We can commiserate once my decision is rendered.

Sorry to hear snap! You were my hope, since we're almost identical numbers. I'm sure I'll be joining you soon, so save me a seat in the ding zone.

Don't get the chair out quite yet

Jake and Kinder both got WLed and they're close in numbers.

The Dean of Admissions is cool/nice as hell.
Adjudicator, after speaking with him and seeing how friendly and helpful he is, I really urge you to consider calling him and asking what you could do to improve your application - unless you've decided to accept WashU's offer, I think it was, rather than wait a year.

Okay. Now I'm starting to get pissed. Again, nothing in the mailbox. I have literally sent packages back and forth to Portland for work twice since they initially said they were sending the letter. Matter of fact... Lewis and Clark got their acceptance packet into my mailbox 3 days after I was accepted. This is ridiculous.

I checked my mail and didn't get anything either! I hope this wait is rewarded with an acceptance.

They don't send the letter right away. Relax !! Good things come to those that wait!

I on the other hand, prefer the "ask and you shall receive" school of thought...

Except that it's been nearly two weeks... And the woman in the office told me on Wednesday that they sent my letter on Tuesday. It doesn't take 4 days to go through the Seattle post office. I'm sad to say that UW has been the least professional of any school I've dealt with... Whether the ranking is higher or lower

That is really sad, since I have had the polar opposite experience with them. =-[
