Got the financial aid email too. The good news is I can take out Stafford and Grad plus loans to my heart's content... Bad news is "To date, all scholarship funds have been awarded. If funds become available after April 1 (first deposit for scholarship recipients) we will notify you if you have been selected for an awards."

Yea they told me they don't offer need-based grants.

As far as picking a roommate on TLS based on icons/posts, I don't know, I'm not that much of a risk-taker to be honest. I have roomed with the same guys for my entire span as an undergraduate, so I find the whole process of selecting a new roommate daunting.

The housing options look stellar down south though compared to up here. My roommates and I pay over 2,400 a month (not including utilities/cable/parking) for a 2-bedroom place that isn't even half as nice as those crowne apartments I was looking at....and we got a good deal on our place.

I agree. I need to meet whoever I'll be living with in person, I'm VERY paranoid about new people lol. Luckily I've been in Winston for the past four years so finding a place, which I plan on doing before my graduation in May, will be a lot easier. The superlow cost of living just makes me so happy.

Am I the only one that did not get any fin aid email? I was accepted in the first batch 12/10 and scholly in Jan. I'm getting really worried.

You are sure you submitted your FASFA? Maybe it is alphabetical or something.

Well, didn't get a Fletcher, but it sounds like there is still the possibility that the ones awarded could be declined and offered to others.

I didn't get one, and I just looked double checked my FASFA status yesterday.

I sent them an email with a number of questions regarding financial aid, scholarships and seat deposits and received a response this morning.

(This is pretty much the extent of my knowledge of Italian, sadly. Only had time to take one intro class, which was during my study abroad in Florence)
