Congratulations! Has anyone who has received the complete email and not received a decision the same day been accepted? I'm really starting to worry :(

I had the same thing happen to me. I received the email on Feb 9th and haven't heard a peep out of them since then.

I got some type of "reviewing your file" e-mail and it seemed like one of those "we are moving you to committee review because you aren't an auto-admit (aka "lulz, your #'s suck"), but there's something we kind of like about you so we'll keep looking at your file" type thing.

Just got the application complete email from Brooklyn...I guess now I hold my breathe and hope I get a second email by the end of the day?

Has anyone gotten in and not gotten both emails in the same day?

I think same-day was auto-admit. You still have a good chance of getting in if you don't get it the same day, it just means you have to wait for the committee to review it and make a decision.

For those of you who have been accepted already - when is your first seat deposit due? I ask because I am on the waitlist and I figure they won't being reviewing candidates until after the first seat deposit deadline.

bklyngreenlp wrote: sibley – good question. Also, have you received an additional user name and passcode for the blsconnect site? I have the one for the status checker, but that info doesn’t allow you to log-in to the other portal (I noticed it under the housing page, where you can supposedly download additional forms for admitted students).
I used the username and password from the 'status checker' to log on to the student portal 'blsconnect'. In the upper right-hand corner of the home page is a little icon that is a stylized graphic of 'My BLS connect'. Try that. The admissions person I spoke to about that was a total dick for no apparent reason. I like BLS, but that made me a little wary.

Hey folks, first time poster here. I went complete early this month and then got the admit email a week later. So don't read too much into not getting both emails the same day.

163, 3.4-ish. So probably a little below auto-admit.

I know sibley asked this on the last page, but does anyone have any idea when we'll hear about scholarship info? I read through the financial aid section of the big packet and it implies that students are notified of their need-based packages (grants, loan amounts, etc) much later in the year, but what about those of us who are going to base decisions on merit aid offers?

BTW I got an email today from a recent BLS grad who works at a firm here in DC and went to my undergrad. Told me about her experience, offered to answer any questions. Very classy, BLS.

You got an email and not a call? My call was from a very awkward kid who went to school in a city about an hour and a half from my city. He was nice. But so awkward.

I received a call from an awkward girl. She seemed nice though. I might call her back one day if I am in NYC.

I then received a very nice email from a J _. This one was very professional, and I thought about writing back and asking about employment prospects out of BLS these days. I sitll might if I get a full scholly with no strings.

Dreman mentioned scholly info goes out mid March in the "Brooklyn 1L Taking Questions" thread.

just got my acceptance email today! completed 1/15

I emailed BLS on Feb 17th asking about the status of my application, then on the 18th I got the "your application is complete and it may take forever to get a decision" email. But then 12hrs later I got the acceptance email!

I'm looking into housing right now. The deadline for the housing app is May 1st, but does anyone know if the housing preference is first come first serve?
I'm hoping for Feil Hall, maybe a 2-3 bedroom apartment.
I'm unfamiliar with NYC. How is the Brooklyn Heights neighboorhood?

brooklyn heights is one of the most desirable places to live not only in brooklyn but in all of NYC (excluding Manhattan which is in a league of its own)

WL via snail mail. I'm following LSN to a "T" from last year. Will stay on and asked to be considered for PT.

Although this wasn't really what I wanted to wake up to after a post LSAT nap.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
