I would search through there to see the decisions others with your numbers have gotten. It's a limited sample of applicants, so don't read too much into it.

Does anyone know how good they are with Need-Based Aid? also, I applied and got a response within two weeks so I guess I went into the auto-admit pile. I decided to apply to their public service program, but I'm way under the medium LSAT so im hesitating. Does anyone know how much emphasis they put on LSAT vs GPA and your public interest experience for getting that scholarship? I just graduated from college, being out for just a year, and I dont have that much hands on experience as they like, im have been working on just research stuff.

Not a URM, but I am NT--out of school with three years work experience and a Master's degree while working full-time

Has anyone here applied for American's PIPS (public interest) scholarship online?

When I submitted the app and downloaded the PDF, it only shows the info I filled out on the webpage - not the resume or answers to the essay questions that I attached. Anyone know if this is normal, or if I should contact them?

Thanks for your help.

wassup gilagarta!

I submitted and application for the scholarship awhile back (by late December) and I just received an e-mail stating that the application has been received. As far as not seeing the essay answers, etc., the same happened to me. However, you should call just to be sure that it has been received. But it sounds like you're fine!

hth!

Anybody know when they come out with scholarship offers? I'm not expecting much, possibly none, and it'll be hard to pick WCL at sticker price.

I'm betting it's good news. I submitted 11/1, went complete on 11/23 (don't know why it took so long), and still haven't heard anything. I HATE THIS MORE THAN YOU DO!

DAMMIT! Complete since 12/15 and no decision yet. I really thought I'd be in the next batch of decisions.

I just spoke to admissions to see what I could find out about why I haven't received a decision. The woman to whom I spoke told me that American is on a modified rolling admission schedule. So, first apps received are first reviewed, but not necessarily decided on. It's possible that the committee has reviewed an (my) application, decided to hold off on it, and that's why some of us that applied much earlier haven't heard a peep yet.

Well, good luck everyone. I'd like to hear something positive from American, but I'm already excited about my current options so I won't freak out just yet.

Is anyone currently "under review"? I'm still just "complete"

For those with a "decision rendered" status, would you mind sharing your stats?
