My status changed today to decision letter mailed. I was hoping it would at least say accepted, waitlist, etc.

Re: DePaul 2013
When I was accepted at another school, the box on the status checker where it says App Fees chnaged to Seat Deposit fee with a due date...this gave away the fact that I was accepted. Has anyone noticed a change like this on their DePaul status checker after getting the Decision Letter Sent notification??

Re: DePaul 2013
Nope- the only thing I had, and still have, listed underneath fees is my application fee. DePaul has done their homework to make sure the letter truly is a surprise.Gunz353 wrote:When I was accepted at another school, the box on the status checker where it says App Fees chnaged to Seat Deposit fee with a due date...this gave away the fact that I was accepted. DePaul took off the hold for the Feb. LSAT, so hopefully I'll go under review soon.

I'm in this boat as well. Patiently waiting.... by that I mean pulling my hair out.anothernancydrew wrote:Same here. I'm hoping that the letter only takes a few days...illini10 wrote:My status changed today to decision letter mailed. I was hoping it would at least say accepted, waitlist, etc.

Re: DePaul 2013
Has anyone who applied at the beginning of December not gone complete yet? Do you think I should call if I don't go complete by the end of the week? Just wondering if it would be bothersome, since that is the whole point of status checkers.

I think you should call. DePaul is pretty quick on the turnaround. I submitted mid december and my decision is in the mail.nit00 wrote:Has anyone who applied at the beginning of December not gone complete yet? Re: DePaul 2013
Received a personal call from one of the professors of the IP department telling me about it, and offering contact information if I had questions. The call was promptly followed by an email giving some of the same info. That was really nice of them...

To all the family law email people: I assume you checked some sort of box on the application indicating that you are interested in family law? Or did you apply to the special section things?
Did anyone apply to the special first year sections? Or know anything else about them?

Re: DePaul 2013
I actually think I did both -- I know I expressed interest in the special section and I'm pretty sure I checked the box for family law when the application just asked for interests too.anothernancydrew wrote:To all the family law email people: I assume you checked some sort of box on the application indicating that you are interested in family law? Anyway, I just looked at the information on the application regarding the special sections and then checked out what their website had to say about it..I can't really remember off the top of my head (and I'm running late, otherwise I'd try to find it for you!)

Re: DePaul 2013
On my status checker:
On Monday the top-right Status box was updated with: "Decision Letter Sent - 1/4/2010"
And today the middle-left Mailings box updated with: "Decision Letter Sent - 01/06/2010"
Weird...

Re: DePaul 2013
Mine had the same thing. I would go by the 1/06 date rather than 1/04 (as much as that may suck). The 4th is probably the date that they made a decision, but the letter wasn't officially mailed out until the 6th.ahk! wrote:On my status checker:

And here I am, naively thinking that, if they had sent it on Monday the 4th, it just might get here today.JessicaTiger wrote:Mine had the same thing. I guess I should relax and expect the 7+ day turnaround like everyone else on this thread lol.

I did not- I'm assuming they contacted me over this because my degree is in education.anothernancydrew wrote:To all the family law email people: I assume you checked some sort of box on the application indicating that you are interested in family law? Or did you apply to the special section things?
