Congrats,

Though not my top choice, I was relieved when I received my first acceptance, it helps!

LSAC application to USD has been completed on 12/28/2009 but didn't get the application received email from USD yet. I am wondering how long normally it takes between them. I guess the application status check information is supposed to be in that email. Thanks!

I plan on applying to USD in the next week or so, but Im curious about the school offering fee waivers. Did any of you receive non need-based ones? From what I gathered from their admissions office, it seems more financial based than LSAT based. Doesnt really matter, I will still be applying.

I received a merit based waiver. I just sent them an email and they provided me with a waiver code.

Bummer, I did send them an email. They must not have been impressed with my LSAT, even though its above their median.... Oh well.

I think, based on last cycle, scholarships should start being sent out next week.

I applied on 12/28 and haven't received anything from USD as of yet :(

Do they send you an email with a status checker?

Speaking of which...they just sent the email! Hopefully I won't have to wait too long before a decision is rendered. Anyone have any idea what the typical response time is?

Me too! We must be in the same batch or something.

They put "Thank you!" next to "Application Received". How thoughtful!

I noted the "Thank you!" as well. Nice touch :)

Waiting since November for decision...

GASP! Receive e-mail from USD today, open it anxiously...

...to find a request for an addendum.
Now pounding chest to restart heart and cannot feel legs. Gah.
At least they're looking at my app right now! WOOHOO! Decision season is here!

Score increase. They take the highest score and the app doesn't ask for an addendum for multiple scores, but I guess they want those addenda on a case-by-case basis.

+1 for the multiple LSAT addendum. I sent the addendum to them and that same day my status checker changed to 'Decision Rendered'. This made me almost s%#$ my pants as I thought I got rejected with that quick of a turnaround...but alas 2 days later I received an acceptance letter in the mail.

So don't let the fact that they specifically request an addendum from you make you think it's a bad thing!!

Did you go straight from "complete" to "decision rendered"?
