Would it be too pushy to call and ask if all ED accepted applicants have been notified?

Yes. And clearly they haven't <--- ... but if it makes you feel better, go for it.

You're probably right, but it is still highly likely that all accepted ED applicants have been notified...there are only thirty, three of which have posted online.

Thanks for the congratulations all!
Good luck to everyone still waiting.
P.S. My numbers, while in my profile, are 172/3.9.

I also am ED and I called the admissions office this morning on an unrelated matter and was told that I was going to be receiving my decision in the next two weeks...don't know if that's good or bad.

Ugh, I have a higher LSAT than 20 of the 23 ED applicants on LSN, but a lower GPA than 16. I don't know what this means for me.

My email specified that 28 will be taken into the ED program this year. I don't know if that means that all 28 have been chosen or only that 28 spots have been reserved for ED.
I figured any small bit of concrete information helps during the waiting game.

Hmm...I wonder if that means that all 28 of you got emailed at the same time, and the rest of us are going to be deferred to RD?
Although I don't really think LSN is wholly reliable, there are some people on there with fairly strong numbers who haven't posted a decision yet, so who knows.

If GWU has already accepted all of the EDers (as is apparently the case per their email) why wouldn't they just tell the rest of us that we're deferred today instead of waiting a month? Clearly, they know!

I think a lot of schools avoid giving out any type of negative decisions right before Christmas. It could be as simple as that.Shopalot86 wrote:If GWU has already accepted all of the EDers (as is apparently the case per their email) why wouldn't they just tell the rest of us that we're deferred today instead of waiting a month? I don't know that being deferred to RD necessarily counts as "bad news."mxc wrote:I think a lot of schools avoid giving out any type of negative decisions right before Christmas. I'm holding onto (false) hope that they are just going down the list alphabetically or something and that not all the ED acceptances have been notified yet haha.
Edit: also, there are a lot of people who, according to LSN, have not heard yet whose numbers definitely would have gotten them in ED last year.

Re: The George Washington Law School 2010
Those people with high numbers on LSN, are they even listed as ED? I don't do well with false hope, and I'm willing to bet everyone who was accepted ED knows about it. I agree that they probably don't want to give bad news yet, as evidenced by the fact that I was told over the phone today that no decisions had gone out yet.

I got in via email today. My stats are on LSN. The email said 28 out of 800 were accepted.

Congratulations! That brings us up to four known PMSs. I thought there would be more of us on TLS. I guess people don't check the boards as much around xmas time. I, unfortunately, had nothing better to do because I worked the whole time.bullfighter wrote:i missed the boat from Christmas holidays, but I will be at GW next year via email on 22nd

Re: The George Washington Law School 2010
So are we to assume that all the ED acceptances have gone out at this point? If there are only 28 total and there are 4 on LSN, that seems like a reasonably representative proportion. Does anyone know how they hand out the rest of the money, like the people that get the less-than-full ride but with living expenses covered? And what are my chances with a 169 and a 3.3?

Do they give $$ to part time folks? 2nd week in January for those that haven't applied ed?

I am pretty sure that schools do not review applications until they are complete. Without an LSAT score, you might be SOL...nematoad wrote:applied ED with no LSAT score... havent heard a word from GW or LSAC (waiting for my december score)
Have you tried e-mailing GWU and asking what their policy is?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
