Yes - on my home and work computers and blackberry. Other people are able to access it, obviously. I emailed their help desk, so hopefully they'll look into it and fix it soon.
what if its their new way of rejecting people - kind of like how insecure ppl break up with their significant others (by disappearing from their lives)
EDIT: how did you buttholes get on the status checker and find out - their site is down

perhaps they are constructing acceptance letters! or in my case...
Dear Bighead,
You have been rejected for the reason that you suck at life.

I believe they moved their website servers. So not every ISP has updated their DNS servers to point to the correct IP. It did not work on my work ISP, but it did work from my home ISP.
It takes usually 24 hours for the DNS to propagate.
In layman's terms you need to wait a little longer, or use an ISP that is different from the one you are using currently.

Internet service provider. My work uses speakeasy, but my home is timerwarner. each of these company has their own DNS servers, and each location/city has different ones as well.

Stay strong. I applied on the first day the app was available and went complete shortly after, but I wasn't in the first batch (certainly not complaining now though!).

Good idea, I did this and it worked - do a search for web proxies, and try a couple. It took me a few tries to find one that would pull it up, but I got it through proxiernow.info.

Did your statuses go right from Application Complete to Accepted? Or was it under review first?
I went complete 11/02

So have all the acceptances been for people who went complete on or before 11/2?

Your internet service provider (the company that gives you internet connection, got it?) or ISP maintains it's own version of DNS... basically a service that figures out where a website URL like
http://www.top-law-schools.com should point to in terms of IP addresses. The IP address is a series of numbers that is like a routing number or somewhat like a phone number or physical address. The URL is just a nice, readable thing for you to type in your address bar. If they changed where they are hosting the website from, the IP address(es) will change. However, it might take some time for your ISP to update their DNS so that going to a URL points to the correct IP.
Too many acronyms for you?
