Me too!! Just to be sure, if it gives the deposit amounts, it almost certainly means accepted--right?
...I think I posted but then it disappeared...anyways, congrats to you both! I'm pretty sure it means we're in...if not, that's a cruel admissions trick.
Same here, "Decision mailed," with deposit info listed. This had better not be a cruel joke! Congrats to all!
Applied 11/1, complete 2 wks later, decision mailed on 11/20.

I think a week or two to go complete.
is it a week or two after they receive your lsac report? or a week or two after they receive your application?

It takes about a week or two after you submit your application online for it to go complete. I believe it takes this long because SCU requests a paper copy of your LSDAS report. I was In Committee for between 3 and 5 days before I recieved notice that the decision had been mailed.

I do not think they would say you owe a seat deposit if you were rejected....but I understand the worry.

I just called Santa Clara, and they confirmed that I have been accepted via the phone. So, if your status says that your decision has been mailed, call 'em up!!!
CONGRATS!

Someone pointed out in another forum that bar passage and employment rates are nowhere to be found on TLS and on SCU's website. Has anyone looked into this? I can't find the info anywhere, and that's a bit troubling.

Ok I was "Deferred to regular admissions" as of today. What does that mean exactly? I know someone explained it awhile back on page 3 or 4 but does it mean it's possible to not get a response by December if you applied EA? The wait is killing me!

I was deferred as of today. I guess it is better than being rejected, but it defeats the purpose of applying EA. If I knew I could have waited to apply...

I'm a bit concerned about this deferral ordeal, particularly in regards to what it means about the quality of my application. Could this by indicative of poor softs? My numbers are 159/3.15 and just got my deferral letter today.

I just got off the phone with the admissions people. Deferred is better than rejection. It means your numbers were not good enough to be admitted quickly with EA, and they want to have another look at your application. I am guessing they want to see how many people with 3.5 +GPA and 160+ LSAT they can accept before they start admitting people who's stats are a little below that.

Defer to Regular Admissions is better than waitlisted? With the defer to reg admissions, you still have the possibility of being rejected whereas they're not going to reject you when you're waitlisted. I dont know, I'd almost rather be waitlisted than being deferred.
