Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
I got an invite... can't go because I have class Thursday nights.
I'm in Portland, though, so the regional hypothesis is probably correct.

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
I've gotten invites to a number of events both in Portland and elsewhere. Not sure if this really means anything, though.

I was told to expect a packet around February 1st. It should not be much longer. I promise to post here as soon as I get something.

Isn't that a Sunday? Hopefully they send out stuff within the next day or so then.csc2law wrote:I was told to expect a packet around February 1st. It should not be much longer. I promise to post here as soon as I get something.

I was told by Admissions staff. They probably meant to put emphasis on the 'around' February 1st.

It looks like a few more acceptances were received today according to LSN... Both Oregon Residents

I know that I read this at one point, but I've forgotten...
Does anyone know if Lewis & Clark offers scholarships with their acceptance letters, or if they wait for your FAFSA info?

It looks like every one that received a formal acceptance letter on LSN has received a scholarship which leads me to believe they send it out with the acceptance...tchadwick wrote:I know that I read this at one point, but I've forgotten...

Yes... I guess we should set up tours at the school. I wonder if the Assistant Dean introduces herself often, or if this was a special case....TheRyanocerous wrote:It looks like a few more acceptances were received today according to LSN... Both Oregon Residents
And yes, they send out scholarship info with the acceptance. I was told that by an adcom at the L&C personal statement workshop.

I wonder how they heard. Glad to know things are happening. Just hope everyone here receives and acceptance.

One person did a tour of the school and was told at the end of his tour. The others didn't list any info. Ryanocerous, will you let us know when nuclearjesus responds? I would really appreciate it! Thanks.flynhawaiian wrote:I wonder how they heard. Glad to know things are happening. Just hope everyone here receives and acceptance.

i called today and was told explicitly "we should be sending out letters by the end of the week, and if you received a scholarship offer, it will come in the letter."
that is all.

I think I'm going to schedule a tour even though I've unofficially visited the campus a couple of times. Maybe that will help show my interest. Give me a chance to throw myself at the mercy of the admissions office.

I'm considering doing the same thing... especially since I can't make it to the open house. The LSN visit story gave me hope.pdennis1000 wrote:I think I'm going to schedule a tour even though I've unofficially visited the campus a couple of times. Maybe that will help show my interest. Grrr. My status was updated today (1/27/09) but it still says "Application Complete" rather than "Decision." I have been complete since 12/3 or something. Ack!

I fell your pain. Everyday I wake up hoping today is going to be the day I get accepted at Lewis and Clark. They are my first choice and after visiting them in November I have such a high desire to attend there. It was like love at first site

I assume from your name that you're in portland. Correct?

Approx 2/3rds tuition. I applied to the PT program, not sure of that makes any difference.
