lol either way you shouldn't be panicking...looks like they're reaching out to selected candidates to see how serious they are.schmem wrote:Does the rest of the email read like a feeler? Trying to establish how much I should be panicking.

Re: Northwestern c/o 2020 WAITLIST
Hey all, first time poster here. I told myself I would never get on these forums, yet here I am. Thanks for the anxiety, waitlists!
But in all seriousness, I am really really hoping for Northwestern off the waitlist. I did not receive an email today, but I'm hoping it's because I already sent them a LOCI saying I would attend if admitted. Either way, seems like we could be seeing actual movement soon? Bracing myself

Would people who got the email today be willing to share stats? I'm trying to see if there's a pattern.
I'm a reverse splitter.
25th < LSAT < 50th
75th < GPA

I have a friend who did the interview, and recieved the email so interview not a factor.EWofNell wrote:I sent a LOCI while I was still waiting for my decision. I didn't go the waitlist interview.

Seems like not doing the interview is possibly the pattern here.

Also received the email today, and it asks me to respond by 3pm May 25. I'm a classic splitter, with LSAT>75, and GPA = 25, but nothing super extreme.

Did you do the interview/send in an loci already? Trying to see if there's some type of patternmelmelcoolj wrote:Also received the email today, and it asks me to respond by 3pm May 25. I'm a classic splitter, with LSAT>75, and GPA = 25, but nothing super extreme.

Yes, I have done both the interview and sent in a LOCI. But I've sort of fallen off the radar since three weeks ago. So...suitsandpotions wrote:Did you do the interview/send in an loci already? I highly doubt there is a pattern, for people all have vastly different stats and levels of involvement on this forum.

Also in off waitlist. Will require fairly substantial scholarship to consider. But now back to weighing options... the law school admissions process is not stressful at all...
