Does the checker text change to under review or does it just stay at app complete until you get decision made? I've had application complete since 11/1 but date has changed a few times.

I believe it stays as "app complete" until a decision has been made.

Just got an email encouraging me to submit a Why NDLS essay. Was well over both 75ths, and didn't include any of the optional essays with my initial submission, so I guess this isn't a huge surprise. Did anyone else get an email like this?

yup, they did this same thing to me last week. i went to ND for undergrad so figured i didn't really need the optional essay. day after i sent over the Why ND essay my status changed to decision made and got an acceptance email today.

Interesting. How long/in depth was the Why ND essay you sent back?

if you're well over 75ths they wanna make sure you're interested... dont want to admit someone who wont accept, even with $ aka YP

ahh about a page, not too in-depth, just mentioned a couple clinics/areas of law i thought would be a good fit for me at ND

Has anyone figured out if the seat deposit information after "decision made" is still an indicator for this year?

It also looks like around this point the big priority mail accepted envelopes were arriving and smaller waitlist snail mail was also received.

It seems like the seat deposit dates show up on your status checker if you are in. They showed up on mine and other posters ITT. But, I'm not sure how long exactly after you go to "decision made" they show up on your status checker.

Seat Deposit information showed up on mine a while after "decision made" come up (I don't think it was there as soon as I noticed the decision there).

I applied ED, and it took a day or so for the seat deposit info to show on mine even though the status said "decision made"

Salty about all you guys with these decisions! I have an LSAT >75th and a GPA @Median, wrote the why NDLS essay, have gotten multiple acceptances from similar/higher ranked schools, and still haven't heard back from NDLS. Definitely want to get this one - it's the first one I'll be genuinely proud of!
