Comfortable, yes. However, partiality to the liberal cause is a separate point. It could be that class dynamics change year to year. Additionally, I think prosecutors are generally viewed slightly more negatively than public defenders. The only reason I created an account was to give an unbiased true testimony of my experience. I am thrilled that I chose this school for many reasons as stated in my previous posts. Honestly, the value you get at this school is amazing. Being more conservative I still feel comfortable and enjoy my experience and the contributions my classmates offer (they have really great experiences, some with PhD's, masters, from elite schools, etc.).
Also, I would like to note that there are seriously countless organizations and actions/causes you can join. If there isn't one currently, they mean it when they say you can create it. Recently, we developed a Diversity Inclusion organization. Leadership positions allow you to build your resume early when applying for those 2L positions. Almost every student that wanted a judicial externship, that I know of, got one over the summer which I think is pretty cool.
