Probably an obvious question but will the status checker say decision made if you have been wait-listed?

I wonder if the decisions sent 12/8 were acceptances, and today's were dings and WLs? I know one person with a 169 got the decision yesterday.
Might make sense cuz I didn't write the "optional" essay
That's what I'm afraid of too. :|
Look all above...Decision on 12/8 are in...so maybe your guess is true...sad for both of us

It looks that way, but we don't know for sure, maybe it will be good news.

Estimated COA is 75k/yr. Anyone else here relying on getting at least a decent sized scholarship to attend?

Same! Congrats. Did you think it was odd that the status checker said that they don't release via email and then two days later they release via email?

I believe they say that to discourage people from calling or emailing them asking about their decision once their status changes to "decision made." Doesn't mean they can't notify you via email.

I seemed to have missed the boat for the first round of decisions (first complete 11/18 and third complete 12/7). Anyone else in this same situation? Any admits mind sharing stats or over/under 25/75's?

I'm in the same boat. Submitted in the first week of Nov, but was registered for the Dec LSAT and had to email ND to ask them to review my file rather than wait for the score. They acknowledged quickly and marked my app complete shortly thereafter (maybe Nov 10-17th). I had a date change on 12/04. Nothing since. My numbers are low (LSAT just below median, GPA below 25th), but I'm a vet with a 4.0 since returning to school and 5 years removed from my 2.0, so perhaps my admissions experience will vary from most. BC accepted me after about 2 weeks, which I thought was a good sign. The inactivity from every other school since is chipping away at my optimism. I'm expecting a WL from ND eventually.

I made a google sheet to help keep track of review and decision dates for anyone who would like to participate. I added fields for LSAT and GPA, but don't feel compelled to add those stats if you are concerned about sharing that publicly (maybe put "PM" in those fields if you would be willing to share that information privately). All the fields are optional, and feel free to put "anonymous" in the username field if you'd like to remain completely anon.

And let me know if you think I should add any other fields that you think are relevant. I included a scholarship field for later, but my understanding is we won't know scholarship amounts until the end of February.

I'll delete any rows that obviously look like trolls. If I had the ability, I'd remove the "yes" answer to the current poll since it is obvious now they were trolling.

Link to spreadsheet (I hope that works)

Not totally odd if you look at their twitter account which shows a picture of a tray full of 2 day priority mail envelopes :D

So if I got the SC update on 12/9 and did NOT get an email 2 days later, it's probably bad news. Everyone that did get an email was accepted, right? Guess I should go check my mail. :x

Is it possible the people who were called have 2 mailing addresses - school and home residence or are out of country (living abroad) or some other reason they were chosen to be emailed in addition to the envelopes shown on their twitter? (such as a 180 LSAT / 4.0 ?)

People said that they received a ding/WL via snail mail, but not email in previous cycle threads. Not sure if that will entirely apply to this cycle, though.
Did you go to twitter? There were at least over 60/75 2 day priority emails about 1/2" thick going out on Wednesday that ND labeled "first round of admission decisons." That seems like a strange way and thick way to say "nope"
