seems so suggestive was it sent to everyone I assume?
My hopeful heart wonders why they would send an email saying "check out these scholarships!" if they were planning on denying me. But in reality I know that is probably not the case...
I thought it was very strange to end with "I look forward to seeing you in person soon." sounds pretty definitive?
Wait...totally missed that...I agree 100%. What do you meannnn Ethan!!!
I would not look into this as an acceptance.

I think Emory should put its money where its mouth is and match WUSTL in scholarship dollar amounts.

It's Emory's funny little way of saying, "hey, even though we have no status checker or convenient and efficient way in which we deliver our admissions decisions (such as email), and even though we send out the same tls post every year asking applicants how they would like their admissions decisions delivered (which we then just completely ignore when everyone replies with, "we want emails"), we just want to let you know that we are going to make this process even more cryptic and nerve-racking because we are slow-as-hell at making decisions and are super behind this year. Thanks for your required patience." Sometimes I wish that law school admissions committees could get over their power trips and treat applicants like they would like to be treated. That's right Emory, I just called you out. Deal with it.

So, how do you think they will treat you for the next three years?

That is a very good point. Hmmmm, it will be something to consider, depending on how much scholarship money they give me. Although, the admissions office is a completely separate department from the actual law school. At the same time, Emory is notorious for kind of being a-holes to their students.

Yep. I just think its funny that they post the exact same message every year on TLS, and every year everyone is like, "please email us out decisions" and Emory doesn't change their system. Definitely one of the more archaic law school admissions offices. Even Vanderbilt has started emailing acceptances to applicants this year.

Applied this morning through Early Decision Program and received my acceptance email this evening!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I am so grateful and suuuppppper excited and relieved at the same to know where I will be this fall. My law school application journey is finally over. Good luck everyone and don't lose hope! I have below 25th LSAT and above 75th GPA so I never thought this would be possible. I never thought I would end up at a top 20 law school. So surreal!!

It seems like Emory has admitted a ton of reverse splitters this cycle.

Do you know of more than the person that just posted about applying ED? I have been looking at LSN for updates, but apparently only 3 people have been accepted to Emory according to LSN. I think that even thought Emory released that teaser message on TLS, they aren't going to actually begin admitting most regular decision applicants until February, though I do have hope that I will come home tomorrow to find a FedEx package from Emory.

I count six that have been admitted on LSN. The years haven't auto updated so some are listed under 2014-2015 and some under 2015-2016.
