I used chrome on my macbook....in case that helps? Seconding what HavingFun said; they are incredibly quick! I, too, received a response this morning with a generous stipend offer. Impressed by FSU so far. I'm so stoked to get on campus and see Tally!HavingFun wrote:I use chrome on both comps, no idea what was going on...They're pretty fast to process though i applied for the stipend last night and got a response this AMNoleslaw#1 wrote:What about a different browser? Those of you who filled out the scholarship application form- have you heard anything concerning scholarships? I received the email with the scholly app as soon as I got off the phone call about my acceptance. Filled out/submitted the form that same night, but I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm not sure if this is something I should follow up on at the beginning of the year or if the wait is normal.

Check back a few pages, a few of us have heard back. I heard back within a week and a half with a scholarship offer.

I was accepted last month and filled out the scholarship application almost immediately after. Has anyone heard anything about scholarship info? I also just got a call from a criminal law professor at the school asking if I had any questions.

I received scholarship information last Friday, followed by a phone call from their Financial Aid (?) Office to make sure I received the email. I actually didn't, so I called and they resent it. When they resent it, it ended up in my spam folder for some reason. So, you might want to check with them, as that could be the case. The woman told me on the phone that some of their scholarship emails end up in spam folders.enotini wrote:I was accepted last month and filled out the scholarship application almost immediately after. I, too, received a call from a criminal law professor. I'm currently at work so I just listened to the voicemail. Overall, I have been extremely impressed by FSU. They have done a great job of keeping in contact in regards to my application, my interests, financial aid, etc.

Re: FSU Law c/o 2018 Applicants
just sent an e-mail to Deborah, the assistant director of admissions. After about a half hour, she e-mailed back saying she had checked the status of my scholarship application and confirmed that I'm currently under review with the scholarship committee. Should expect to hear back by the end of next week at the latest.
I have to say I'm very impressed by the staff at FSU so far. They really seem like they're going out of their way to cater to prospective students.

Re: FSU Law c/o 2018 Applicants
Can someone help me with some scholarship answers? I'm above both 75 medians and never got an email about applying or anything. FSU is becoming a more real option for me so I'd like to get some money...and I think I probably qualify. I emailed them about scholarships and never got a reply. Can someone PM their process / if I've missed a deadline?

There's an application that has to be filled out and their email about it to me ended up in my spam. Same thing happened with the scholarship offer. Check your spam and then call them.louisv123 wrote:Can someone help me with some scholarship answers? I'm above both 75 medians and never got an email about applying or anything. Can anyone shed light on how FSU communicates decisions? By email then letter or just by one of the two?
Oh how easy life would be if there were just a uniform LSAC process for this whole process.

acceptance via phone call (I think on fridays is the general consensus of when they call)LawGirlAtx wrote:Can anyone shed light on how FSU communicates decisions? By email then letter or just by one of the two?

Then they send a letter a few weeks later
My status checker still just says "decision has been rendered" or something like that. so it doesnt change after

"Decision made and will arrive by mail."
No phone call yet. UR 1/21 Decision 1/23.
Is it unacceptable to call and just ask what decision they made?
