Yep. They get all you out-of-staters together and let you know exactly how to do it during 1L. It's relatively easy.Bigfish41 wrote:Can one get in state tuition after a year?

Late to this thread...submitted app the evening of 1/5 and received an acceptance email this morning. Did not expect to receive a decision this quickly, but am very excited and highly considering UGA.

Does anyone know the final date to apply to be considered for scholarships? Pretty sure it's Feb. 1st, but just wanted to be sure.
165/3.75 and I plan on applying as soon as I get back 1 LOR from an internship.

Waitlisted and withdrew.
I figured I was going to be since it took so long to be reviewed. Still none the less surprised, especially after being accepted into higher schools. This cycle has been crazy!
Hopefully you guys get of the waitlist quickly if you were WL'd!

I just got an email from Georgia saying: Admissions Office was informed that a problem exists at LSAC regarding your file. Please send an updated transcript to LSAC.
LSAC was absolutely zero help. I have my transcript in through last spring. No other school has said anything about this but Georgia just sent me this email. Is this something anyone else has encountered? Do they just want my fall grades or is something messed up with me CAS file?

I received the same email from them. I just graduated from undergrad in December so I had to have my final transcript sent to LSAC. It has not yet reached LSAC, but I'm already under committee review, so I'm not really sure what's going on.JMWZ wrote:I just got an email from Georgia saying: Admissions Office was informed that a problem exists at LSAC regarding your file. I graduate in May, but on my status checker it says I'm missing my final undergraduate transcript. Super weird.jlaw2015 wrote:I received the same email from them. Everyone's status checker says that. You have to send them your official undergraduate transcripts directly from your school, not from LSAC, if you plan on attending.JMWZ wrote:I graduate in May, but on my status checker it says I'm missing my final undergraduate transcript. That makes sense. Thank you. Now I just have to figure out what that email means.hdaze wrote:Everyone's status checker says that. Re: University of Georgia Law c/o 2018
Hello All,
I attend UGA undergrad currently, so if anyone has questions about the town as a whole don't hesitate to ask. Also I'll be spending a recruitment day with UGA Law admissions on Feb 17, so if you have any questions you want me to float by them let me know and I'll post their answers when I have them!
Good Luck to all!
