Left a vm saying call back. I called back and left a message and they called me again.gocats575 wrote:Missed a call earlier today. For those who got a voicemail, did they let you know you were in in the voicemail or just tell you to call them back?

Did anyone receive a scholarship offer in the acceptance phone call?

I did not, and looking at LSN, looks like most (all?) people also did not. According to the ASW website and email, merit scholarship information will be emailed beginning in January. This is different from what UCLA has done in previous cycles -- maybe they're still sussing out the strength of the application pool...?logicgames wrote:Did anyone receive a scholarship offer in the acceptance phone call?

Anyone know how to recover a name and password from their account on the UCLA website? I activated my account last month and thought I had written everything down, but I can't find it.

Generally it is 60-70%, but I'm not sure if there's a requirement or what that is.cavalier2015 wrote:thinking about applying to ucla (waiting on december score). does anyone know how much of the class is supposed to be CA residents? Oh my. Well my GPA is below the 25th, so I guess if my lsat is at or above median I'll give it a shot. Might as well request a fee waiver, never know what can happen and with a good enough LSAT they'll be happy to pass it out.cavalier2015 wrote:Oh my. Applied ED and still no word... Anyone else in the same boat? I tried to call the admissions office but they are "closed for winter break"?? I suddenly feel like I either missed an email or I am waiting for an automated rejection letter at midnight... Which would be awesome...

Hey guys, I'll be touring UCLA when I'm in LA. Has anyone taken a tour? What does it consist of/who gives the tours?

When are you in LA? I would recommend doing the tour when students are around otherwise you just see the building and don't have the benefit of seeing students in action or being able to talk to them. The tour consists of a student (usually a 2L or 3L) showing you around the campus and answering questions. I believe it is 45 minutes or so.

I live on the east coast and will only be in LA next week. UCLA has been one of my top choices this may be my only opportunity to visit before ASW (if I get in).calmenda wrote:When are you in LA? I had one in December. Mostly just why UCLA, with a few standard interview questions (like "greatest challenge," etc.). Had a YP feel to it; they blatantly asked me where else I had been accepted.giantswan wrote:Have a Skype interview coming up and there isn't a lot of info ITT about what to expect - would anyone who has done the interview be willing to share?

Waitlisted today via e-mail. YP candidate, from out of state. Not taking up the waitlist spot, though, since at this point UCLA doesn't make much sense for me. Good luck to the rest of you!

Also wait listed from OOS. Not going to take up the spot. Best of luck to anyone who does wait it out and still waiting to hear back!
