This. Some days I think i'll get in everywhere, and other days I resign myself to the prospect of studying at Cooley. Admissions really brings out the neurosis.

Same boat here. Definitely spending too much mental energy over-analyzing weaknesses in my applications. Need some decisions to come out!

Yes! I seriously love michigan- they just sent me an invite to visit them at the Houston lsac forum- which I was already planning on doing, of course!

The adcomms in general are just great and friendly people at Michigan.

Based on mylsn.info, in the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 cycles, applicants started hearing back in the first full week of November.

I guess I'll start incessantly refreshing my email on November 3rd then.

I had a problem with my status checker that I had to email them about and every person that I talked to was incredibly nice and helpful and awesome. I said thank you and they replied something like "NO THANK YOU, YOU ARE THE BEST". So yeah, I love them.

Checking in, gonna apply in a few days. Stats aren't the best (between median and 25th for both) but hoping for the best. Pretty diverse (international student, lgbt) so hopefully they see something in me ha.

Any idea if ED gives a decent enough boost?

I hope so... My LSAT results put me pretty solidly in the middle so I'll definitely be applying ED.

In the letter included with my invitation to apply/fee waiver they did hint that they do give a little bit of a boost to Michigan residents.

Michigan residency seems to provide a small bump, although not to the extent that Virginia/Texas residency provides to UVA/UT applicants.

Sent my application today, LSAT 169.. I know how hard it is for int'l students to get in T14 without a GPA, so I applied via ED..
Any idea on when the results will come out?

Probably the first week of November.

169,, with possibly a 'superior' foreign evaluation and decent softs gives a shot for some $$, doesn't it?

Of course not, this is TLS where 95% of posts are an attempt to make the poster feel better about their own decisions/circumstances by criticizing someone else's decisions/circumstances. Writing, "jesus, hope you got a lot of cash" is such a pointless addition to this thread. I'm curious what the motive was behind that, especially because taptaptop mentioned nothing about financial aid...

As for Brady's comment, I agree that they may definitely have a shot based on a 169 which puts them at 75th percentile, an unknown GPA (he or she didn't say it was a bad GPA, just that they didn't have one), and an interesting story of being an international student.

My bad. ED = No bargaining power for aid.

I don't really understand what's happening ITT. you're not likely to get $$$ because of the fact that you EDed, not because of your numbers, which are solid for Michigan
