My friend works in the admissions office and, AFAIK, they're at the beginning of reviewing WL files. I don't think they've admitted anyone yet, even though they're on track to.

Does your friend have any idea how many they're looking to take or if they'll be taking more than usual this year? Or really any information about the waitlist?

I wish they shared more info bc we are all going crazy over this whole process

In off the waitlist. Dean Deal said that they had just started looking today, so I'm sure there's more good news to come!!!

My friend didn't say and judging by the other info in this thread concerning a few WL--> admits, his information may not be completely on point. In his words SLS is planning to take several people off, but I don't know whether that means 5 or 25 or 50. I do think that if they've admitted people off the WL, they just recently started to do so and are planning to admit more.

But really, I guess only Faye Deal knows for sure.
