Congratulations to the superstars that made it off the list!

Not to be all changing the subject, but I sent my form in around a month ago and have not gotten a confirmation. I'm thinking of calling -- is that a terrible idea? I'm having feelings.

I am on the Waitlist but am getting bored of waiting for Yale to call. Also, I recently began dating again and would like to have ample funds to take my beau out to concerts/restaurants/clubs/etc.

So in exchange for $3000 I am willing to withdraw. If one donor wants to cover the entire 3k that would be fine, but it would be equally acceptable for several of you to band together to pay.

I was just thinking the other day how I cried when I got WLed at Yale and thought that somehow it forecasted a miracle to come. Now I'm just laughing at myself for thinking that significant number of students would ever turn down the chance to attend AND that my number would be called. Pretty hilarious actually.

I think we can all be fairly confident that we won't be getting into Yale at this point, so now's the time to start with some of the more high-risk admissions strategies. Try recording yourself singing an ode to Yale Law and send it to them. If you're not comfortable doing that, you can also call the admissions office and offer sexual favors to whomever picks up. Those who really want to go the extra mile can find Asha's address and show up at her house to demonstrate initiative and personally explain the depth of their commitment to Yale. Remember, you have nothing to lose now!

First-time poster, long-time lurker.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I can have your collective advice.

Needless to say, YLS is my dream school, and I was wait listed back in April. I applied to the school very late in the cycle. I'm thinking that this was partly one of the reasons that I was wait listed. I have been thinking about this a lot recently, and I'm wondering, should I not get in, would it be wise to wait out this cycle and apply next year?
