Do you think more people will hear back today? I'm going crazy with no movement since November.

Re: UNC c/o 2017 (2013-2014)
They haven't released scholly info for anyone. It was supposed to be out by late Jan, but they missed their (self-imposed) deadline, and now have said they hope to get it out by the end of Feb. When schollys are released, everyone will receive an email re:schollys, regardless of whether they have received one.LyricsToLitigation wrote:hey guys, usually how long does UNC take to release scholly info after acceptance?

I'm hoping so but I know the law school is closed tomorrow because I just received an email that my meeting with Admissions has been canceled due to the weather.cmroberto wrote:let's hope for some movement tomorrow! decisions appear to be going out on Fridays.. hopefully the storm won't affect this week's round

Granted, the school was closed for half of last week ...lsatnoob wrote:Well...today marks two weeks since the "scholarship update" email. I believe the email said we should know within two weeks about scholarships? Now they've missed two of the deadlines they set for themselves!

Re: UNC c/o 2017 (2013-2014)
So do we all think that UNC admin folks are waiting to see if those accepted with high scores will be tempted to chose UNC over a T14 school for the right scholly $$$? The sooner the scholarship offers are made, the sooner those who are accepted, but on the fence as far as attending UNC will decide and those of us waiting to hear from the admin on a wait/admit/deny will hear back. The wait is slowly sapping any and all confidence I had originally when I first applied (12-4-13).
I know the weather has been terrible in NC, but it was only three days worth of delay!
Duke waited until the very last possible moment to deny me (although expected from the start the delay gave me a sorry sense of false hope). My greatest fear is to get another deny the last possible moment (the whole time holding out hope I may be what they are looking for). I might just cry, a little bit. If I am put on the waiting list I do not know if that would make be happy or sad. Is "sad-ish" a recognized feeling? It is times like these interviews would be so helpful; the feedback is immediate albeit subtle and you can always tell if it is a go or not.
Good Luck!
