thanks i had heard they are not splitter favorable - and being an established east coaster probably did not help. at least there are other good offers out there for me

Admitted 1/31 with both above GPA and LSAT above 75%. Would love to live in Seattle. Waiting to hear back from other schools before deciding.

Office of Admissions received my seat deposit check! Email said it could be a few weeks before I receive my student ID number. Go Dawgs!

Anyone else receive the UW Newsletter email today?

I'm curious if the "generous donation" amount will allow the school to open up the pursestrings on scholarship dollars a little?

I sure hope so - UW would be a top choice if the money was comparable to its peer schools.

Judging from my offer and the other offers on LSN, haven't seen any significant $$$ yet, but maybe this will change as the deposit deadline comes closer?

This is what I was told by the dean of admissions during an admitted student event. More money for programming and scholarships and potentially for PI support.
