My letter says it has been sent as of Monday. If tuesday rolls around with nothing I'll just call them.

Gotcha. So I guess I probably shouldn't be expecting anything before late next week.Attax wrote:My letter says it has been sent as of Monday. If tuesday rolls around with nothing I'll just call them.

I just received an email requesting an interview in early February. I'm at 25% LSAT, <25% GPA. Think this was a mistake or is this a general email they send to all applicants?

Have you already been accepted? I have not, and thought that the interview was more or less for admission purposestorresash14 wrote:I received the email today. I'd say you have reason to be cautiously optimistic. Many people being admitted without interviews + very hard for schools to maintain medians = win! Rooting for you!mx23250 wrote:Now I'm a little nervous about my decision letter that was mailed yesterday. <50% LSAT and <25% GPA. Also, for anyone interviewing: to my knowledge, Maurer interviews only a small number of candidates in person. You have reason to be optimistic as well!

Re: IU Maurer c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Thank you for your application for admission to Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Bloomington. The Admissions Committee has reviewed your file, and has requested an in-person interview. We are conducting interviews in your area on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Morrison & Foerster, 1290 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY, 10104.
The interview will be an opportunity for you to meet with alumni and admissions staff and to further discuss your application, interest in and qualification for admission to Indiana University Maurer School of Law. The interview will last approximately 20 minutes.
We will be able to interview 25 students between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Please reply to this email by January 31, 2014. I will then be in touch to confirm your interview time and other details. If the 25 interview spots are filled prior to January 31, we will include you on a waiting list.

That's okay. I'm OOS, no real ties to the area. It was bound to happen.jk148706 wrote:Ah man sorry to hear it. I'm also lsat >75 and gpa <25Attax wrote:Waitlisted.

Wow, if this is the case, I'm guessing my decision letter in the mail is at best a waitlist. I'm LSAT<50%, GPA<25% and also OOS.Attax wrote:Waitlisted.

So odd...still in review from 11/13. <25% LSAT and >75% GPA. Any predictions on my outcome? I won't be offended.
I plan on calling them tomorrow.

I may call, considering the status checker says we should get a decision within six weeks of going in review.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
