Congrats to all of you admits. I guess the question us (interview candidates) are trying to figure out is: do you know someone or are you someone who got denied even though you were invited to an interview?

In via snail mail today! Did anybody else's letter mention something about being a part of the Early Decision pool and to begin withdrawing your other applications? It almost gave my a heart attack until I checked to make sure I submitted a RD app on LSAC.

Also in RD via snail mail today! Nice little hand-written note on the acceptance letter and they addressed me as Captain...nice touches.

Willio, mine didn't mention anything about ED.

Anyone who participated in the nyc interview last monday with dean cornblatt get accepted yet? Also, has everyone who has been accepted had 3 updates to the initial complete on the status checker? Thanks!

There are plenty of people who are denied after an interview. There are no statistics about it, but I can tell you that whether or not you have an interview is far from a deciding factor. Georgetown tries to interview as many applicants as they reasonably can (which is always a higher number than the number of spots available). Getting invited to an interview is generally a good thing because it gives you a chance to add to your application file in a meaningful way. An interview can only help; it's your opportunity to give them a reason to admit you for who you are and not what's in your scores.

Unless your scores should already get you in, and you blow the interview...

For people whose rec writers got emails, were they emailed on the last change date or at a later time?

Typically how long has it been for people to go from 3rd status update --> mailed decision letter?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
